BUSINESS MENTORING IN NORTHAMPTON

Wednesday 1st October 2008  sees the start of a business mentoring scheme in Northampton. This is a free course having been funded (for now) by the Northamptonshire Community Foundation. The scheme is currently funded until January end 2009. To get the most from it, it is therefore probably wise to join as soon as possible, preferably on the introductory meeting at 8A Bridge Street, Northampton 4.15-6.15pm on 1st October. You are however welcome to join at any time.

Nelson is leading the course and has much experience.

Hi all

This is a first message to visitors to the Friends of Lighthouse website. Lighthouse Mission is an exciting, aspiring and enterprising organisation focused on improving quality of life. We are managing a number of projects with Swahili children and young people in Northamptonshire at the moment and are starting a business mentoring course in September.

Our Northampton, Neslon Oenga, manager is currently in Kenya trying to expand and develop the life enhancing projects that Lighthouse is undertaking there

Our Patron Dr Robert Oenga is in Manchester as far as I know, very pleased with progress especially our increased visibility for which I wholeheartedly thank Simon Derrick for setting up.

Meanwhile back at base we are spending the summer planning and generally sorting the ‘factory’ out.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on Wednesday 17th September at Northampton Labour Club for a quiz / fundraiser.
